Morning temperatures will begin in the low to middle 40s Tuesday, however we will see a wide variety in afternoon temperatures today as a warm front lifts north through the day. Some of our Southern counties by late afternoon may push into the middle 60s while parts of our northern zone will be stuck in the low to middle 50s. What is interesting to note, is that temperatures will continue to rise across the region through the overnight hours, and by dawn on Christmas eve most locations will be in the low to middle 60s. Rain continues to be in the forecast, and low clouds all day, with the best chance for rain this afternoon and overnight, possibly heavy at times. Christmas eve will be warm, breezy with highs in the low 70s with rain and even a few thunderstorms possible before our cold front moves through Wednesday night. Christmas Day: Morning temperatures upper 40s to low 50s. Mostly sunny, Northeast breeze, highs around 58.
