Morning update regarding the boardwalk fire in Seaside: - The fire on the Seaside Park Boardwalk is suppressed. - All emergency personnel remained in place over night continuing to extinguish hot spots. - The cause of the fire remains under investigation. - All roads in a (5) block perimeter remain closed to local traffic between Stockton Ave & Lincoln Ave and Bay Blvd & Ocean Terrace. - Parts of SH 35 remain closed and traffic is being redirected. - SH 37 has reserved one lane for emergency vehicles only. The roadway is open only to local residents. Governor Christie is scheduled to hold a media briefing at 10 a.m. today in Seaside Park.
