#MorningDevotion: The beauty of love 1st Corinthians 13:13 “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” Have you been in a position where you have been hurt by those you’ve tried to love or tempted to withhold your love from others? Or on the positive side, been shown patient love by people around you? Well love means going that extra mile even though the returns may sometimes not look positive. To love is to be vulnerable. Loving people means placing your heart at a place where it may be taken care of or broken. To love is to take risks, to expose our hearts and reach out to everyone even the unlovable ones. It hurt Christ to love us but He kept on loving, even at the cost of His life. Therefore, we must keep loving that workmate who may seem irritating, stubborn child, unforgiving relative because it is Christ-like and it is better than locking your heart in a world of self-centeredness. Let us love with the attributes given in 1st Corinthians 13:4-7 and with time we will realize how love beautifies all things.
