#MorningDevotion! #WordForToday: Total Surrender Psalms 37:5-6 “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.” Someone once said that prayer is the bridge between panic and peace. A certain lady was sharing with a group of believers how when she encountered situations she feared, she often panicked and exhibited a demanding spirit in prayer. More often than not God seemed remote and silent. She then realized that she needed to fully surrender the dreaded situation to God and let His will reign. When she did that, fear left and peace flooded her heart. Committed believers are those who sincerely follow and serve the Lord plus trusting Him to come through in all situations. Instead of trying to control your fears with panic prayers, surrender yourself to God through a prayer of submission. Let’s commit ourselves to God and trust Him by completely surrendering every area of our lives to His wise control, especially when fear and panic overtake us.
