Mos procedure went well. Glad its over. The night before and waiting is the hardest part (echoes of Tom Petty). They went through the groin to the heart and disconnected the AV node that makes your heart beat. Hes completely dependent on the pacemaker. His very weak heart muscle will now hopefully strengthen. Amazing the brief recovery from this. He had to lay flat a couple of ours. Sat up for lunch but couldnt move leg much. At 3:30 he could get up and walk. Now with no IV hes free to walk when he wants. Feels fine. Go home in the morning. Take it easy a couple of days. Saturday start living the rest of his life. And I mean living. Praise God! Hopefully this 16 month nightmare is over.
