Moscow says US sanctions against Tempbank ‘unacceptable’ The Russian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday described sanctions imposed by the US against the Moscow-based Tempbank over its dealings with the Syrian government as “unacceptable.” The US Treasury put the Russian bank on its list of sanctioned entities on May 8. The UN Security Council has not adopted any resolutions banning cooperation with Damascus, which means that bilateral economic and financial ties are legitimate, the Russian ministry said. The court ruled that Biszku was guilty, and sentenced him to 5 years and 6 months imprisonment.
