Moscowites are masters in the art of governing. Not surprisingly, since it inherited and thus far managed to maintain the largest empire in human history - the Mongolian Empire. Moscow didnt create the environmentalists, and the anti-fracking people, and I dont think Matt Damon works for Moscow. But pay attention, ladies and gentlemen, this is how those who face South operate, they dont create mass-movements or mass-ideologies, they uses them to their own advantage. Understanding opportunism inherent in all power relations, is key to understanding how one attains and retains power.
