Moses Awaits ‘Special Moment’ -Excited With Eagles’ World Cup Prospects Liverpool of England loan-signing, Victor Moses has admitted that he is looking forward to a special moment of his career this weekend, when he would be part of the Super Eagles’ squad that qualifies Nigeria for its fifth appearance at the FIFA World Cup. With just a draw or even a 1-0 loss good enough to see Nigeria through to Brazil 2014 against Ethiopia this weekend in Calabar, Moses is exuding a lot of enthusiasm going into the game and believes he will have the sheer satisfaction of a ‘special moment’ for his career. Moses, who moved to Liverpool from EPL rivalos, Cheslea during the summer, admitted that qualifying for the 2014 World Cup would be a special moment in his career. Moses, 22, migrated to Britain as an 11-year-old after his parents were murdered and is on the verge of qualifying for the World Cup with the rest of the Nigeria squad after turning down the opportunity to represent England. He told KickOffNigeria it would be a dream come true and added with a hint of humility that, though the Eagles lead 2-1 from the first leg, there are still 90 minutes to go before that dream becomes reality. Qualification will be special for me. And for the other lads as well. It is every kids dream to play at the World Cup and playing there would be a massive boost for me and the rest of the team. We are looking forward to the game, we know its not going to be an easy game for us, but all the lads are in now and we are looking forward to it. We beat them 2-1 but we know how difficult that was. We are back home now and we just want to get a win for the nation and qualify for the World Cup. They are a very good team; they can play and score goals. But at the moment, we just want to concentrate on ourselves and work hard. Everybody is looking sharp and we just want to keep the momentum going, keep it strong as a team, do our best and win the game on Saturday, the former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic of England star concluded.
