Mosquito Monday: An alternate use of the Mollins cannon was in lightly armoured fast attack boats, though this was semi automatic and required manual reloading, not possible in an aircraft - A D-Class MTB showing the auto-loader equipment supplied by the Mollins Machine Co Ltd, of London SE, for the 6-pounder 7 hundredweight gun Mark IIA in power operated Mark VII mounting, at the coastal forces base HMS MANTIS, Lowestoft. A three men crew are operating the gun. €;)
