Most Nigerians are novice as far as this terrorism quagmire is concerned. The Niger-Deltans are blaming Buhari for the insurgency. Could he be committing genocide against his own ethnic group for a cheap political gain? The Northerners are blaming President Jonathan for the war of attrition in the Northeast. Could he be killing his own citizens because he wants to assume the mantle of leadership for the second time? The truth of the matter is that all terrorists commit terror acts for political motive. So if the motive linking ordinary people with a political structure can be made impassible,terrorism will end. All terrorists have a political motive and they use religion as a mere tool to justify their acts. And more so, Boko Haram is an international terrorist group. And I believe majority of their fighters are foreigners from neighbouring Chad and Niger. Remember, the West had predicted the disintegration of Nigeria before 2015. We Nigerians need to unite. United we stand, divided we fall. The future of Nigerian state needs subvene to prevent the whole edifice from falling into ruin. God bless Naija!
