Most South Sudanese have misinterpreted the concept for Federalism and most people have taken it as Equatorians OR Oppositions agenda which is not the case. It is something very unique that just needs good advocacy and more enlightenment in order for the illiterate people to understand federalism in South Sudanese context than opposing it without good convincing the people of South Sudan. Federalism can eradicate social diseases like tribalism, corruption, nepotism, arbitrary arrests and killings which are the main objectives and visions of the incompetent leaders; it also creates and fosters patriotism and loyalty to the state as well as creates laboratories of democracy. Unless otherwise those who dont accept federalism can be called anti-peace and development because they have not seen what has taken back the people of South Sudan to square one.
