Most apartments or townhouse complexes throughout South Africa forbid pets. Yet they allow unruly, misbehaving brats aka children, to disturb the complexs peace or worse allow them to mess, pollute and damage property. The myopic way in which we regard pets as a perceived disturbance is entirely beyond me. My two cats, the third-floor two cats, the first floor cat and (small) doggie and the fifth-floor two (small) doggies are quieter, have more manners, live in harmony and are more clean and do not damage property. Unlike to what Ive experienced of most brats living in apartments/complexes around the country.
