Most astrologers have been doing lots of experimentation as to exactly WHEN the USA was born. Was it even on 7/4/1776? There are legitimate reasons to not believe so. Anyway, I have great reason to believe the accurate chart for the USA (remember, there can be more than one) was the one around 2am in early hours of 7/4/1776. That gives the USA Gemini rising with URANUS IN GEMINI in the first house, now, if that isnt right.... (That means, hell, we can solve anything with more technology) Anyhow, after a whole lot of thought for a very long time I really believe that the difficulty with America is this: It is not that we are lazy, or dont care, or are apathetic, etc. I believe that the collective population known as the USAs problem is that we dont take things seriously. When I visited Europe a few years back I had thought that it was a bit uppity to traditionally send our college juniors for a year abroad. Boy, was I wrong. Once planted in Europe, you can see on their faces, in their genetic imprint that these people take life seriously. You can see it. You can bet that they know how easily another country can cross their borders. Looking back at America it became so obvious to me that we are so child-like, (Sun in Cancer, Mercury in Cancer, Venus in Cancer, Mars in Gemini... Thank goodness the Moon is in Aquarius (Statue of Liberty). America is seen as not only the new land but as very infantile. It cant happen here, right? Canada quietly to the north (Cancer.) Mexico to the south (quiet Capricorn) and two huge oceans to the side. So, what can happen here? Not only did 9/11 show us differently, the big factor is that we are in the midst of The Great Decay from within because we can flip the remote and not look at what we are doing to ourselves and the world. Out of sight, out of our minds. I dont know what to say about this because Im not an expert social commentator. But, Id just like to say that things are very serious and thank goodness we are putting pressure on the big $$$$ folks that are so used to manipulating us with ease but also the wonderful rate at which we are finally waking up. Thank you Uranus in Aries. Wake each of us up. Wake all of us up. Were being lied to constantly by our governments and powers-that-be. They dont want us talking to each other - therein lies our power. This Grand Cross is not over and will happen again for 2 more years. This is the symbolic, stand up, or get knocked down. Dont let anyone talk you into drinking the Kool-aid. We need to act. And we need to realize that things are serious; we cant just flip the page.
