Most days I think Im doing alright. Time moves slowly. Yet it seems to be flying by at the same time. I shared this song with a friend today to use for a memorial for her son........and I cant get it out of my mind because its my song to Kevin as well. Ive been working in the yard so much.......something we always did together. Its my first spring being alone and doing it alone.....One of many firsts. I cant get this song out of my head and I realize maybe Im not supposed to. I miss him. I love him. Hes still my husband. Its not right. He wasnt ready. He fought so hard. As I see or hear of people fighting their own battles, yet continuing to smoke and do the things that can cause their own deaths, I wonder even more..........WHY??? Why Kevin? He had such a strong will to live and he fought to the very last breath. And I wonder what other great things would he have done? Who would he have been and I pray for the strength to carry on his legacy and make him forever proud of me for what I am able to do in his honor, here on earth! Ill see him again..............someday..................
