Most deer that are struck by vehicles will end up dying in yards. Other deer die from attempting to jump wrought iron fences that have pointed tips, the deer get caught and wind up dying from shock. Other deer are killed when they drown in pools or water features when the cannot escape. Most of the deer we pick up are from vehicle accidents after they succumb from the injuries sustained.
