Most important game of the year....likely to be saying that every week now but so far this season today is it. Those who cover the team up close tell me that the locker room seemed tight the last couple of days which leads me to the three scenarios I see as possible for today. One....that the Seahawks have recaptured some of their us against the world mojo. They conjure up an effort like last year, and win comfortably. Two....they continue to be what theyve been, a talented but flawed team that gets in its own way at critical times but remains in the game to the bitter end. That kind of game goes down to the wire and flip a coin as to who wins. Or Three.....The pressure and tension reach critical mass, lots of dumb personal foul penalties, looking confused on offense and defense, Russell Wilson under assault and a win for Arizona. My hunch is number 2 but I am not sure the Seahawks win in that scenario. Believe a fast start would be especially helpful this week (when isnt it). Az is great at protecting their QB and very tough against the run. Not an ideal matchup. This game doesnt decide the season but it really kinda will in my opinion. If Seattle loses I see them fading down the stretch, a win and everything is possible. To quote noted American philosopher Bart Scott....CANT WAIT.....Groz
