Most intense truck day so far. There were five pallets packed in as tight as they could possibly shrink wrap it and between five and six feet high with stuff for the store. There were two and a half of us emptying the pallets (the half was my manager because she was mostly working the front, greeting customers, tagging stock that was going on displays and doing paperwork). Before my manager left, my friend Amber and I were informed that she wasnt expecting us to finish it but just to do whatever we could. We finished with the last item on the last pallet with about 15 minutes to clean up a bit, push overstock into the back area (to be sorted later) and prepare to close. I feel oddly accomplished. Also, Ive discovered that I can lift and move 3 (approximately) 30 pound bags of dog food at once without hurting anything or being out of breath (it was almost... easy). Now Im pooped and will gladly admit that Im going to go boom and fall over now. NIGHT!
