Most interesting week! Went riding with my Byron on Sunday evening. Came home and smelled something hot. Went in and looked at the wood stove and saw flames in the ceiling. I went and told Byron (who was in the shower) that I thought our house was on fire. :) he threw on clothes and determined that yes our house was on fire. But no we didnt need to call 911. We hauled water up into the attic until the ceiling caved in. I stayed up till midnight. He was up all night. Anyway the next day the insurance people were there and kicked around in the insulation and it started up again. So the fire department was finally called! Anyhow the point of this is that a small fire could have been devastating but wasnt. My husband is amazing. And we have the best insurance ever. It is Farm Bureau. They sent out Paul Davies Restoration and I am so impressed! Our family room was trashed and our house reeked of smoke. Now it is clean, smells sweet and there have been cleaners, drywallers, electicians, and insulation people here. God is so good! This could have been terrible but I getting some amazing spring cleaning! :) giving thanks!
