Most of my Best Friends are not from #Uganda. Grace MaCalman used - TopicsExpress

Most of my Best Friends are not from #Uganda. Grace MaCalman used to do my hair at Trent University and Make Up (darn it). She did my make up and hair in my graduation on my FB account, you see the picture where I am with my father. Gracie is a genius from Georgetown. Her and I used to sing Do not cry for me Argentina. She sings in a high pitch and I sing Alto. We used to be rebels on the road. I was usually the one driving and we would make faces at people while driving. If you meet Gracie you will like her. We all kind of got into calling her GraciePooh (Poo Bear). My nickname Nangi was from Pearson College. So when so many of us got scholarships to Trent University, I had no idea that the name would carry forward. My friends from the high school still only call me Nangi. One time in an accounting class, the Prof looked at me and said that Nangalama was too long and could he just call me Nangi? I was stunned because all my friends from high school were not in that class. He was the best teacher. Blackmore (I got a cheque from the Canadian Account Management Association) for having the best grades in Accounting. CMA (Canadian Management Accountants Association. I even have the certificate for it). However the real work was in the computer courses. Those professors were on a mission. I now see why they were so hard. IT changes daily. I was trained by the best professors in the world and my gosh, when I tell Uganda that I know about IT and some call me a faker, they have no idea. This Gracie from Guyana only flies to Canada occasionally. One day I was missing her far too much. We had not kept in touch for a bit. This one day when I was missing her too much and it was too late to call her (She is IT and Tennis), she posted something where she tagged me in something and this is it. I make friends for life. Most of you already know about Toyin, Hector, Christine and Alli. But I was dancing to this one tonight and the girls only remember Grace for my make up and hair but they have an aunt in Guyana. What a wonderful friend. Everyone needs a friend like her. https://youtube/watch?v=kGDZWzdGiJA By Martha Leah Zesaguli (Nangalama) Moncton, Canada
