Most of the Muslims in INDIA are angry today particularly because of the latest communal riots. They feel unsecured, helpless, no body is coming to their help and they don’t know what to do? Holy Qur’aan is an ever lasting Book on earth and it has solution for all our problems. Holy Qur’aan is putting forth this Question. Al-Baqara [2:214] أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مَّسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَاء وَالضَّرَّاء وَزُلْزِلُواْ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَعَهُ مَتَى نَصْرُ اللّهِ أَلا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللّهِ قَرِيبٌ “Do you think that you will enter HEAVEN (the Garden of bliss) so easily without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? Surely, they encountered suffering and adversity, and were so shaken in spirit that even the Messenger of ALLAH (PBUH) and those of faith who were with him cried: "When (will come) the help of Allah."……. ALLAH consoled them…..”Verily, the help of Allah is fast approaching you” Al-Imran [3:139] وَلاَ تَهِنُوا وَلاَ تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنتُمُ الأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ “Don’t be disappointed ; Don’t be afraid ; surely you will enjoy supremacy but one condition ; You must be a True Momin” Al-Imran [3:140] إِن يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ الْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِّثْلُهُ وَتِلْكَ الأيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنكُمْ شُهَدَاء وَاللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ “May be you are wounded now, (don’t forget) your enemies also under went similar wounds. These kind of bad days (of varying fortunes) normally we circulate among people. We do this, (so that) we can identify real MOMIN and choose those who stand as witness for TRUTH for ALLAH. (surely) ALLAH does not like wrong doers. An-Nisa [4:104] وَلاَ تَهِنُواْ فِي ابْتِغَاء الْقَوْمِ إِن تَكُونُواْ تَأْلَمُونَ فَإِنَّهُمْ يَأْلَمُونَ كَمَا تَأْلَمونَ وَتَرْجُونَ مِنَ اللّهِ مَا لاَ يَرْجُونَ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا “ Never loose your stamina in following up the enemy: If you are suffering hardships, they too are suffering similar hardships; (Definitely) you have good Hopes from ALLAH, while they (your enemies) have no such hopes. And Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom” What should be our action point?...Holy Qur’aan guides….. Al-Anfal [8:60] وَأَعِدُّواْ لَهُم مَّا اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدْوَّ اللّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ وَآخَرِينَ مِن دُونِهِمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ اللّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تُظْلَمُونَ “Always Be prepared with all your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies of ALLAH and also your enemies, and others besides, whom you may not know, but ALLAH knows them very well. (ALLAH is encouraging Muslims)…Whatever you spend in the cause of ALLAH, shall be re-paid back to you (as HASNATH in AAQIRAH), and (Never imagine) any injustice from ALLAH. In the above verse, TWO words are very important (1) MASTA-TA-TUM and (2) QUV-VAH The first word talks about “AFFORDABILITY” and the second word talks about “STRENGTH”. Both words put together, gives a joint meaning “ALL YOUR POWER”. ALLAH (SWT) wants us to gather all our power in order to create FEAR in the hearts of our enemies. The word “POWER” refers to all kinds of powers, manpower, mental power, money power, administrative power, technical power, negotiating power, convincing power, arguing power, attacking power, writing power, communicating power, tolerating power and so on. Definitely, ALLAH (SWT) has given lots of powers to Muslims as whole but the level of power differs from person to person. A person may be stronger in manpower but he may be weak in mental power. A person may be strong in mental power but he is weak in money power. A person may be strong in money power but he is weak in communication. A person may be strong in verbal communication but he is weak in written communication. A person may be very strong in written communication but he is weak in direct negotiation. A person may be very courageous and swift in action but he may be weak in planning. This kind of person will repent a lot after committing mistakes. ALLAH wants every individual to contribute to the maximum, whatever he/she can easily afford. All these contributions put together form the real strength of Muslim UMMAH. This joint strength will definitely create a FEAR in the hearts of our enemies. It will make them think 100 times, before attacking Muslims. This is the CORE message of this verse. We should start grooming our next generation. They should be encouraged to occupy positions in Govt. service, Police, Courts as Judges and Lawyers, Media both Print and Electronic Media, Politics, Teaching, Professionals in every field. Of course, we are good in business and trading. But we are much backward in Industries. We need more and more Mechanical Engineers, Marine Engineers, IAS/IPS/IRS/IFS Officers. Our population is 13% but we occupy less than 4% Govt. positions. There is a misconception among Muslims. We don’t get opportunities. Its wrong assumption. Constitution of India gives all legitimate rights to all citizen. Basically its Govt’s responsibility but when we don’t get our rights, we can fight legally. Many people fought for their rights and they have won. I remember an old case, a Muslim Sub-inspector of CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) employed with BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited) Trichy, Tamil Nadu went for HAJJ. After coming back he started growing his BEARD. He was advised to remove his beard but he refused. He was suspended. He fought legally for many years. Finally Supreme Court of India gave Judgement. Court declared his suspension as ILLEGAL. Court ordered the CISF to take him back on duty immediately and with all benefits. The court permitted him to keep his beard while on duty. Court gave 6 months time to CISF to pay him full salary together for the period he was suspended. This case clearly shows, ALLAH’s decision is Final and binding. TAWHEED Jamaat in Tamil Nadu is a powerful Muslim organization. If you look at the history of this organization, they suffered a lot for the past 20 years. Lots of boys jailed, tortured, thousands of false cases they faced. Police used to visit their homes at midnight. They purposely go inside bed rooms for checking. They abused women in filthy language. Activities of this organization became stronger only after worst anti-Muslim riots in Coimbatore in 1997. 17 Muslim boys spent 9 years in Jail without any criminal case against them. They were tortured and their families troubled and so on.Those days are gone. Now this organization has about 7,50,000 active members. Their voice has a value in Tamil Nadu Govt. World history has recorded, without SACRIFICE and CONTRIBUTION, nothing is possible. Just getting angry on Criminals, Politicians, Leaders, Police, Officials, Courts etc will not help Muslim UMMAH. Each one of us should start thinking, how can I contribute for the cause of Muslim UMMAH. If we start today, the fruits can be enjoyed by our third generation after 25 years. Surely ALLAH gives us full guarantee….. Muhammad [47:7] يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ “O you believe! If you will help (for the cause of) ALLAH, ALLAH will also help you, and plant your feet firmly”
