Most of the weekend was taken up putting the finishing touched to the Link ECU / m.g crash repairs dublin Altezzas 2JZ-GTE engine. The last part of the puzzle was to shim the valve-train to give the correct tappet clearance. This is a slow and painstaking procedure. To speed things up we are lucky that we have the equipment to grind shims properly on our surface grinder. Eliminating the need to Toyota to get them in for us and saving valuable days in this build. The engine no sits ready to be fitted to the car today and be wired to the new Link G4+ Xtreme. With Daigo saito and Robbie Nishida arriving on Thursday we are now under huge pressure to get this in and mapped by Wednesday. Wish us luck.
