Most of us if we are not leading in some way are being led.We are either inspired by fear or manipulation, through guilt or shame, through bullying and threats. But that is not the way for Christians, we are to lead and be led, by love and faith, through a Shepherds rod and staff. Love will always trump over fear since the motivation that comes from love and a pure conscience does not defile another, it build them up. Why then do we prefer the worlds way of fear to motivate others, and why do we give into it ourselves? Faith the Scripture says "works though love" not fear.
