Most of us trust when we flip the light switch the lights will turn on, darkness will be over come. Last week this wasnt the case for a friend of mine. The electricity failed in the bathroom. She searched for the solution in the fuse box to no avail. It was several days before her landlord fixed the problem. This power outage disrupted her life. Drying her hair, using the mirror, and seeing in general werent possible. We sometimes act as if there is a switch to turn the presence of Christ in our lives off and on as if there are parts of our daily living where he just doesnt belong. The truth is Christ wants in to every part of your life. Without him our lives would be disrupted beyond our imaginations. He is the light that never goes out, always there, always merciful, always loving you, always overcoming darkness, always worthy of our trust.
