Most of you know I have just come through a long physical battle that has lasted for almost 3 years. During this long ordeal The Lord showed me some things. Real called ministers will preach even if they are near broke because the burden is in them, and the call overrides money, lack of finances doesnt control them. The Lord showed me to pray in this manner, (1) Spiritually, (2) Physically, (3) Mentally, and then (3) Financially. Let me explain the reasoning: If I am not where I need to be Spiritually, money doesnt matter. However, if I am under physical attack, I cant minister and the devil has a field day. When a pastor/ evangelist is in the hospital or flat of their back they cant do what they need to be doing. I found out when I couldnt go minister, ( I did encourage people and started Thursday night Prayer meeting) but I couldnt preach revivals etc.. When you are physically under attack it affects you mentally, I know some people may not understand this but, I suffered mental attacks of the devil at least once a week. The devil cant possess a Christian but he plays with the mind, thats why we read Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. I said all that to say this, I believe ministers are under the greatest physical attacks they have been under. I talk to at least 2 a day that are going through physical battles. It is not coincidence it is intentional, the enemy knows if he can remove or beat down and injury the leader he can cause havoc in the church and even possibly destroy the congregation. We must pray and intercede for ministers, Pastors and Evangelists more than we ever have. Help hold your Pastor up on a daily basis
