Most of you know I used to be a vegetarian... I dont recommend a vegetarian diet and I can attribute a lot of my health problems to the lack of animal products in my low fat, grain and soy diet. My friend Hannah recently gave up being a vegetarian for health reasons. She wrote all about it in a brave post here: healyeatsreal/why-i-stopped-being-vegetarian/ If you insist on being a vegetarian for religious or other reasons do me a favor and ditch soy, go easy on the grains, go gluten free and eat plenty of fat. If you tolerate dairy add plenty of raw dairy and eat a boatload of eggs. Thats my 2 cents :)
