Most of you know Ive been with The Sherwin-Williams Company for over 30 years. In my time, Ive seen a lot of changes, and while paint has certainly jumped in price over the last decade, what is in the better buckets today is MILES ahead of the technology in that same decade, so much so we have multiple coatings that have lifetime residential warranties. Somebody asked me if it would really last a lifetime, and I said with the building materials today like Hardi Board products, yeah, it can last as long as you live, but there is one reason that paint companies will ALWAYS be in business: No one knows how to invent a woman that is going to like it forever. What does it matter?
