Most of you know that my little brother Mike passed away over a year ago. Today was his birthday! He would have been 5o years old today:/ Triggers indeed! This morning was rough! I hung out in my prayer room early morning and God was so good to show up and comfort me. You see- Jesus does not leave us comfortless. Jesus had to go to heaven so the Holy Spirit could come as another Comforter. I had thoughts of all the what ifs and thoughts of was I a great sister when Mike was alive and even thoughts wandering around my head of did I do what I could? Jesus held me and reminded me NOT to go there. That Satan was liar and to capture his lies and meditate on truth. The truth was that I was a good sister and was there for him time and time again!...................Now I understand even more why we are to guard our minds and our hearts. If you are struggling in your mind today-allow the comforter to comfort you. He holds all things together! He is your Helper no matter what you may be facing or going through. He is your help in time of trouble!! Dont you play that record of lies over in your head. Embrace God and his truth sweet fb friends! God wants to set some people free............................I prayed for all of you who are struggling with loss of loved ones. And so many experience loss of loved ones that are alive (let them go-dont beg them to love you). Cling to Jesus and he will replace those who walked out of your life. He will reconcile one day or replace them....He will give you what you need and will fill the hole in your heart. Your job is to stand and keep on standing. The battle is not yours.
