Most of you know when I have something to say I say it .. Mount Vernon Animal Shelter has over 40 ..thats right FOURTY ACTIVE VOLUNTEERS! Yet, the same LESS than a handful ( and 3 NON volunteers ) shows up to help look for Cookie .. Just because there is no sightings or no updates does not mean we dont stop ! It means we look into other areas , towns , we ask questions , we look for companies that may have cameras at night ... and that my friends requires HELP ! You can love me or you can hate me , it doesnt matter , it matters to me that Cookie was missing for weeks on end with a owner that failed to notify the shelter , yet , when shelter was notified it took days on end for action to be taken .. time is of the essence you dont sit and wait for a phone call back !!!
