Most of you must have heard of the untimely death of another Senior Lecturer of Gulu University Mr Nyeko Balaam Otim. The Late Nyeko perished on Thursday June 26 following a motor accident in Gulu. We wish to convey our heartfelt condolence to the family, close relatives, friends and Gulu University for the untimely death. He was Federation of Uganda Football Association-FUFAs newly appointed National Referees’ Fitness Instructor and was actively involved in on going educational workshops for local coaches in Uganda. He was a Senior Lecturer at the faculty of Humanities in Gulu University, and is the third senior university staff we have unfortunately lost this year. May the Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace. The requiem service is today at Christ Church; Please if you can, Join us for the burial tomorrow Tuesday 1st July in Palaro Parish, Odek sub county- Gulu district at 2pm. Those who knew the late Balaam know of his relentless dedication to sports, education and service. Mr Nyeko Balaam was truly an honest and kind soul. He will be dearly missed and spoken about his noble deeds. Have a fruitful week!
