Most often, we have put more reliance into the promises of man. We trust more on what man says than what God says; we forget that God made all things. We build much hope on our fellow man rather than holding fast to the promises of God. Note that the promises of God seldom coming to pass especially when we are being overtaken by disbelieve. At the end of this study, we shall be able to identify some of those promises of God over us and shall work towards possessing it. God Promises You Love God promises to love those that love Him. Proverbs 8:17 He also said that those that seek Him early shall find Him. When do you seek God? Is it when everything is late and there is no more a surviving grace? If we do the things Christ wants from us to show that we are truly in love with Him; he will love us back and make us His everlasting love John 14:21. We often proclaim that we love our Savior but we cannot prove that we really love Him. God has shown us both love and kindness. Jeremiah 31:3, In this case we now have to ask ourselves a question “what is it that can separate us from the love of Christ? Romans 8:38-39. Is it conditions? Riches? Poverty? Or what?
