Most people dont believe me when I tell them this, but heres the proof. Years ago, the Trib was one of the very first newspapers in the country to run their comics pages in color every day. When we first started the process, each and every comic strip had to be colored in by hand by one person. Today, technology no longer requires the tedious work. And, yes, in the beginning, I was the poor soul who colored them all.
