Most people dont realize that over 30% of our dyno tuning is aimed at cruisers/standard/touring bikes! Here is perfect example of how properly tuned EFI can make your cruiser run better! This is a 2014 Yamaha BOLT. Customer brought to us after paying another shop to map/tune it and complained of poor throttle response, lack of top end power and overall unhappy. Once we got on the dyno we could immediately see why. The shop didnt realize you cannot actually add/take away fuel in the lower rpm range and yet was still trying..they also failed to even align the TPS range settings (1st thing you always do!) and had NO ignition timing adjustments even thou you can with this Dynojet unit. We got air fuel as smooth as we can, adjusted Dynojets optimizer for low end even better and then really spent some time with the ignition timing. As you can see the follow charts are 100%, 80% and 60% throttles and just with tuning the ignition timing! You cant get this with an auto tuner or by someone not knowing how to properly adjust and manually tune! Customer beyond excited. This is one reason we really like the newest Dynojet PCV tuners, ignition timing CAN be very effective!
