Most people miss those last moments with their kids because they dont realize it really is the final moment. its the last time their child will say something incorrectly or put on a pull up or ask for a glass of water. Today is my last day before resuming chemo. I choose to believe its just one more small battle in the war Im waging. But today I kissed my daughter fervently when I dropped her off at school. I let my youngest wear her new to her pjs to the store. I relished watching both girls rampantly climb snow banks and raucously playing on the way home from school. I loved, and was loved ferociously by so many that have become integral to my tapestry. Just a day. A gift. A life. Oh, so worth the ongoing fight. Love and light my friends.
