Most people never think twice about where our candles come from at Grace Community as most people think of purchasing candles. However, Tribe of Dan actually recycles old candles to make many of the candles we use each week. Its Candle Recycle time again. We are asking you to bring old, half used, or unwanted candles to worship with you Feb. 1st/2nd weekend. Scented or non-scented, the smell recycles out! Be part of the altar design for the upcoming year by bringing your left over wax to worship! Well have a special time to bring them forward in the service. If you have some old candles and want to get rid of them AND want to have a chance to be connected to some area of ministry, have I got the opportunity for you! This weekend you can bring old, half used, or unwanted candles to worship at Grace Community United Methodist Church. We will use them in service and then recycle them to make new candles for the altar. Also, please remember to bring canned goods for our missions as this is the first Sunday of the month/Communion Sunday! #gracehappens
