Most people say lawyers are conman, greedy and liars. And most of them are right because of the structural problems in the legal profession which is based on Capitalism. However, that does not necessary be how it should end up being. We should be brave enough to challenge the system should it be wrong. Section 42(1)(a) of the Legal Professions Act 1976 states that the Malaysian Bar should uphold the cause of justice without regards of its own interest or its members UNINFLUENCED BY FEAR OR FAVOUR. So why hasnt the Malaysian Bar do something bout the injustice system ? Young lawyers must step up and take the Bar storm to reform the Legal Profession.
