Most people who know me know l have 5 passions that drive me.............my Socialist beliefs based on Marx , Lenin, and Engels , and faith in my fellow strugglers through life, ....my trade union roots and collective action, my vegetarianism and love of animals , my love and defence of the city of my birth SALFORD , and my fight for equality in all aspects of life........however a recent text sent to me by a leading light and apparatchiks from the Labour Party asked me to help spread the word about Ewan Davies silly statement that Salford and Trafford should call themselves manchester ..(paraphrased )...and to complain to the BBC in a quote from his text politely voiced way my discontent ...........well comrade who sent the text let me tell you this ......yesterday 1500 concerned people marched through the streets of manchester to protest and show solidarity with the anti fracking movement............there were a few people missing off that demo and rally...some due to be at other conferences and rallies,,,,some ill , some had family committments,,,,but one way or another they all let us know and sent apologies , or added their names to the list of absent supporters............all that is except the Labour Party.............in the City where the thugs from the GMP TAU are brutalising the protectors , arresting young school girls , pushing older citizens around like cattle ......causing wounds and hospitalisation of people on a peaceful protest ......and what do we get in the way of support from the councillors in Irlam and Cadishead...ZILCH a big fat zero.in fact one even called us squatters...................... what do we get from the Salford Labour Party branches and apparatchiks like yourself an even bigger Zilch and still you are supporting the waste of spacers in Swinton Town Hall council chamber and the apologists who think the sun shines out of Peels arse............get a grip Labour ...get a life Text sender.....with the exception of one Salford Labour MP..and a couple of Salford Councillors ..we are being led by donkeys...................and no Mr Texter l will not be texting or emailing the BBC or any other waste of Oxygen in a politely voiced way my discontent with Evan Davies silly childish ill thought out Jeremy Clarkson style rant
