Most peoples Christianity is about dealing with life today and the distant future. Most of todays pastors preach sermons that focus people on their today while encouraging them about their tomorrow. Very few people have any interest on life eternal however and that is unfortunate. Read Matthew chpt 24. This life is going to get increasingly difficult. In fact current events shows that the good life is becoming a distant memory. We have seen famine, pestilence, wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes in diverse places.Yet no one is paying attention and only want to hear sermons that tell them how wonderful life is getting ready to be for them. God is not enlarging anyones territory. That sermon should no longer be preached. No we are in the Time of sorrows. Jesus predicted in Matthew 24 that the end would be marked by sorrow and so here we are. So far weve only seen the beginning of sorrows there is more to come.
