Most pro-choicers I speak with do not seem to understand the concept of what begging the question/circular reasoning means. It simply means Assuming what youre trying to prove. For example, lets take the following statement: I affirm a child exists at birth. Lets break this down: Premise 1: A child exists at birth. Premise 2: Birth occurs. Conclusion: Therefore, a child exists at birth. This argument is circular because the conclusion is the same as premise 1. Anytime the conclusion is the same as any of its premises, its a circular argument, or an argument that begs the question. So, when pro-choicers make claims like this, they are committing a logical fallacy. Its not logical to simply argue a child exists at birth, based on you simply asserting its truth without proving it. So, stop committing this logical fallacy pro-choicers, thinking that all you need to do is make an assertion to demonstrate your position, when that couldnt be farther from the truth. -Antonio
