Mother Theresa said Life is beauty, admire it. I do, regularly, as it spills all over the place in my life. Im giving myself a challenge - 365 days of Jill admiring the beauty of Life through her camera lens. This is In honor of my beautiful grandmother - Doris Rachel Stephenson Carson - who passed away today. My granny and the last of my dear, dear grandparents who loved me without ceasing. She was physically beautiful, possibly the kindest person I every met, but I have not met the Dalai Lama so the jurys out on that. Her creative muse was strong and prevalent in her life. She sang like a bird! She was an amazing artist whos paintings adorn our families walls. She loved style and fashion and always presented herself with a lovely, enviable flair. She loved to decorate her home. She had a penchant for dressing up - should have been on the stage - in unrecognizable costumes and fooling her many brothers and sisters and various family members on April Fools Day IN PUBLIC PLACES and they did not know it was her!!! She was never angry or cross and always, always, always she was full of laughter, humor and goodwill. She called us all precious, darling and angel. And now thats her. Relief after 18 years of surviving an aneurism and then living a sort of half life. Now her spirit is being received in the beautiful reunion with Source and all the company of Heaven. I love you Granny, and thank you for a shared creative spirit. I pray to bring honor to my own gifts, use them more fully and thus show gratitude for your inspiration and our connection.
