Mother’s tears of joy: Lifeline Chicago is proud to report more wonderful stories #1. Gordana Barach represents and volunteers her time to help LL Chicago under HRH Crown Princess Katherine’s Foundation , she lives in Serbia and has been chauffeuring LL Chicago Board member Sonja Ogrizovich , her husband Mane and daughter Nina around. Sonja is there to inspect some of the projects LL Chicago started and recently completed. Two of the orphanages have taken in flood victims who are now living in the orphanages. They not only lost their home but also lost everything they had. Sonja and her family went shopping on behalf of our office to make sure these families had a few necessities. #2. Mira and Zoran Gusic have returned to Serbia to live. They also represent and volunteer their time to help LL Chicago. They are two extraordinary people who tirelessly work every day helping many needy Serbs. Ljubostinja Monastery is run by 20 nuns the youngest 65 yrs old, the monastery had very little water, all 5 wells were tried up. With financial help from Lifeline Mira and Zoran are helping clean and install a new hydro system in one of the wells. Also, along with friends they helped build a greenhouse for the nuns to now grow their own food.
