#MotivationMonday Allow me for a moment to briefly give everyone reading this a snap shot of the last 13 months of my life. My family and I went from getting a paycheck every two week, to not getting a paycheck at all. Fell behind on all our bills to the point that our Phones got shut off, Water got shut off, Electricity got shut off, Lost our home, Car got repod, and a few more things that I wont mention, all of this happening in the midst of having our 3rd child. EVEN IN THE MIDST OF ALL THIS WE ARE STILL ALIVE & KICKIN! WE ARE STILL GOING, AND GOING, AND GOING, AND GOING! I didnt write this list to make you feel sorry for me, I write this list to show you all the great things I had. I wrote this list to show you just a couple of the moments in my life where I could have had a crappy attitude, dim outlook, & victim mentality. Lets be honest, considering the situations I was more than qualified. Im not saying I have not had my moments where I want to give up, quit, throw my hands in the air and surrender, because I have had many of those moments. BUT here are two things I believe with my whole heart!!! 1.) Setbacks are Setups for Comebacks! To be honest I kinda like being the under-dog. The greatest moments in sports are not when a team comes in and blows out the other team. Rather, when a team is getting beat up on and STILL COMES BACK TO WIN!!! And believe me friend, WE WILL WIN!!! There is no other possibility! 2.) Delays Dont Define You Some people live life in a way that when a dream or goal gets delayed that it somehow defines them as a failure. Delays are just that, delays. They dont mean that something wont happen, they only mean they didnt happen when YOU wanted them to. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!!! If you are reading this, I believe its for a reason, you probably needed an encouraging word and some motivation so read this next part very carefully. WHAT HAS DELAYED YOU WILL NOT DEFINE YOU!!! WHAT HAS LOOKED LIKE A SETBACK IS ONLY LIFE PREPARING YOU FOR YOUR GREATEST COMEBACK!!! YOU FUTURE IS STILL BRIGHT!!! THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!! PLEASE please please...
