Motivational Monday- 8/25/14 Happy Monday! The joy of the Lord is your strength. Rely on that joy today! ___________________________ No one likes to be corrected. But, no one knows it all. And, no matter how much we dislike when someone corrects us, its actually working for our good. Proverbs 12:1(NIV) makes it plain: Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid. Its stupid to automatically reject correction. Thats a know-it-all mentality. And, that sort of attitude will not only cause people to want to stay away from you; but it also keeps you from gaining more knowledge. Not all correction is created equal; but, before you dismiss correction as hate, ask God to show you if there is any fruit in the message you receive. If we will humble ourselves, correction from others can be a catalyst that propels us into further understanding of Gods will for our lives.
