Motivational Monday- 9/8/14 Happy Monday! Theres nothing too hard for God. Remember that the next time youre facing a tough challenge. __________________________________ Bishop T.D. Jakes once said, The closer you get to your breakthrough, the harder things become. Whether youre pressing toward the fulfillment of a dream, or praying and waiting for God to deliver you from an ailment in your body, you must be determined not to quit. Mark, chapter two, tells a story about four men who brought their friend who was stricken with palsy to a house where Jesus was healing people of their diseases and afflictions. When they arrived at the house, they werent able to simply walk into the front door because there were too many people there. They may have been discouraged, but they didnt give up. After presumably carrying their friend for miles to reach the place where Jesus was, quitting wasnt an option. We have to possess the same sort of determination. Just when youre ready to throw in the towel, God is ready to help you. When youre ready to stop praying, your answer is closer than its ever been. Obstacles will come. Obstructions will attempt to throw you off course and distract you from your purpose. But, you must take hold of your breakthrough by faith and resist the urge to quit. Youre much too close...
