Motiviation and Coaching In my years of coaching I have found the greatest challenge is working with an athlete that is not your own. This is why our Board puts a lot of thought in selecting National Team Coaches who have the important role of working with all athletes at International Meets. Blayne Tooley Bonfoco and Yves Charette have been selected for the past two Worlds as our National Team Coaches. They display the qualities of openness and flexiblity when working with high performance athletes allowing those individuals to provide them direction towards their coaching. It is the ability to let go of the reigns that exemplifies excellence in coaching as well as leadership. In Italy both Blayne and Yves did a wonderful job with all of the athletes. I was inspired watching both in action with the kids all week long. Thank you both for your dedication and committment towards making this event a wonderful experience for all involved!
