The reality is that Stefan has already signed with him while Crutchlow is trying to obtain a severance payment from Ducati. Now it seems that everyone is looking for Cal so here one of two things: either his manager, Bob Moore, has so far been slacking off or Mr Crazy Eyes wasn’t so far offered the salary he was looking for. Anyway, now that the net (read Ducati) is closing in pretty quickly on him, he’s desperately yearning for freedom because he knows that another season at the “Court of Bologna” means a big game over for his career. How many offers would he receive, in fact, if at the end of 2015 he arrives once again behind Dovizioso and Iannone on the standings? The answer is simple: none. So it’s better for him to try to find another two-years contract. Lucio Cecchinello is willing to offer him one, but with a clause in LCR favour not the other way! However, since the gig of LCR is not comparable to that of Ducati, Cal, having already achieved his 2014 goal - making a lot of money - now is trying an underhand trick: to leave Ducati keeping part of his 2015 salary! I do not know about Cecchinello - Cuzari continues - however if Bradl came to us I would be happy because I am convinced that, on a Yamaha, he might realize the potential showed when he was in Moto2. Because Moto 2 shows how much a rider is fast. Its a good school. So Cuzari is hiding behind the words although he admits that everything will be made official at Indy. Not only the name of the rider (Stefan Bradl) replacing Aleix Espargarò, who moved to Suzuki, but also who will take the place of Colin Edwards. By the way: will Texas Tornado stop soon after Indy or not? The Forward team owe Colin Forward a lot - the manager wriggles out - we owe him our agreement with Yamaha. When we signed with the Factory he was there along with Carmelo Ezpeleta .... This means everything and nothing, really. Certainly, however, it should not be easy to replace two riders considering the general crisis around ... And the situation will become even more delicate if Edwards decides to stop, giving up Brno and the rest of the season. We will respect his decisions, Cuzari kills the talk, and all this sneaking around makes us smile a little. Yes, because all this back and forth of the various team-managers at this stage of the season means one thing: there is no money around. Neither to pay the riders, nor to stand up to the Factories. The result is that, as always, Yamaha and Honda are gonna decide everything, moving their checkers according to their needs. And from what we have seen so far, a real hunt for young riders has started. Moreover, as Ducati demonstrated in 2007 with the hiring of Stoner, who at the time was not their first (neither second nor third) choice, to make a bike going fast theres nothing better than a fluke.
