Motocross of Nations. Germany 2013. Great effort by our Team Canada motocross riders. After a 24th place finish in the qualifiers out of 41 teams our team members went into the B main on Sunday morning. We were down to two team members following an injury to Jeremy on Saturday. As each team has three riders in the B main it meant we had to have both our riders scored with no throw away option. The lowest score is discarded. The winning team in the B main advances to the Motocross of Nations final. Team Canada were running in first place for every one of the B main laps until the last lap when we slipped down to 4th place. The top four teams were very close on points going into the last lap. Latvia edged out Porto Rico and Ireland to advance to the MXofNations final. Note. Team Canada were pleased to provide assistance to one of the Team Germany riders and equipment in our pit space. The ISDE in Italy winds up this weekend so stand by for final results.
