Motorcycle Guardian Angel (my Sister) hard at work: Sunday, I was riding my motorcycle down Tuolumne Rd. behind a pickup. We get to Mono Way and the two left lanes at the traffic signal. I choose to take the left, the truck stays right, for a moment...then almost broadsides me without a turn signal coming into the left. I honk and back off just in time. Pulling to his right side I looked in the window, his passenger staring straight ahead and the driver giving the oops gesture. Aaarrgghhh!....Oh, heres more...Monday, heading down the hill, thats West bound Hwy 108. There is an on ramp from Peaceful Oaks/Standard...heading West...high bridge ahead...Some shit brain illegally and very SLOWLY turns LEFT/EAST from the on ramp , across the Westbound lane and into the Eastbound just as I am approaching at 60mph with several cars behind me. Nowhere to go...I had to do everything possible to keep from not being here...glad the bike has ABS as well. I pulled over to breathe and recenter and a car pulled over too to see if I was ok. It was THAT close...oh,more.....about an hour later Im heading up to the second Twain Harte exit Eastbound Hwy 108...I love that ride. Making my left from the hwy a pickup tries to make a left from there just as I am right in front of him! Again, I narrowly avoid a bad situation. I run with 3 white lights and 3 amber lights in the front. I am careful and attentive. What the heck is the deal???????
