Motorsport Ireland Roundup Another weekend double for Simon McKinley, giving him seven wins from eight rounds, clinched his fourth Naylor Engineering National Hillclimb Championship in five years. The Dubliner was in a class of his own on both days, finishing almost four seconds clear of Rory Stephens over a new course at Effin, Co Limerick on Saturday, and 2.4 seconds ahead of Alex Wilsdon Junior at the same location the following day. Irish pair Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle brought their works Citroen DS3 home in third place in Rally Finland over the weekend, the eighth round of the World Rally Championship, behind the pair of VW Polos which have dominated the series in the hands of Jari-Matti Latvala and defending World Champion Sebastien Ogier. Craig Breen from Waterford held ninth place in his Kel-Tech Fiesta RS as they set out for yesterdays final stages, but had to retire with severe back pain following a heavy landing on the days opening stage.
