Mount Keira Scout Camp joins Wollongong Botanic Garden in congratulating the Rotary Club of Wollongong. https://facebook/pages/Save-Mt-Keira-Lookout-A-Local-National-and-International-Icon/539845562713664?fref=ts We received some great news this week that the Rotary Club of Wollongong will receive grant funding to help support future community volunteering activities at Mount Keira Summit Park. Thanks to a Federal Government Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs Volunteer Grant, the Rotary Club will soon have a Volunteering trailor full of tools and equipment and a BBQ to support volunteering activity at the Summit Park. Thanks also to one of the Save Mount Keira Facebook members Vanessa who kindly offered her time to put together the Grant application. The Rotary Club and Botanic Garden are currently finalising proposed dates for volunteering twilight events (5.00pm - 7.30pm) to be held over the daylight savings period so we will let you know as soon as possible and hope to see you there
