Mount Mugao as we call it in our local dialect or known in english as peak. Mount Mugao is located in Cagubatan, Tadian, Mt. Province. You can see the mountain starting from Maba-ay, Bauko Mt. Province up the way to Kayan, Tadian, Mt. Province. Mount Mugao was considered to be as a sleeping beauty for it was believed to be an extinct volcano but it was never been proved by our elders. Even thought it is a mountain big trees are impossible to grow due to its rocky soil texture. Near the peak of the mountain a small pond is found in where it has 3 eels which we believed them to be as spirits who existed for a hundred years. So these 3 eels are being taken good care and the people never catch them for food consumption.Also when you look at this mountain, from the top it seems to be standing at center of the ring of the mountains surrounding it.
